Rock Bands

Rock bands are generally is group of musicians who are specialized in playing rock music. Most of the rock groups contain an electric guitarist, bass guitarist, and each singer, a drummer and forming a quartet. Some groups who do not have a separate lead singer and a bass guitarist; it may be possible that a lead singer is also a bass guitarist or an electric guitarist. It is not the number of people who play in the rock band but the number of instruments that are played in rock bands. These groups may also use some stringed instruments like horn section of saxophones, trumpets, violins, trombones, others. You may include as many instruments as you want in a rock group but it must have a guitar and a drum.

The rock music is generally defined as the genre of famous music that has entered the mainstream during the mid 1950s. Evidences of introduction of rock music have also been seen in early 1940s. In addition to this rock, music was able to draw its influence other music like jazz, classical music, folk music. The sound that is mainly used to represent the rock music is of electric guitar or acoustic guitar. Keyboard instruments and like piano, organ are also used in rock music, and in the 1970s synthesizers were popular. Along with the keywords and guitarists blue, its style harmonica is also sometimes used as a solo instrument. During 1970s, rock music was differentiated into sub genre.
